Superintendent Dr. John Barthelemy recognized and congratulated the Assumption Parish School Board members for voluntarily attaining their LSBA certification for 2025.
The Louisiana School Board Association awards certification to those school board members across the state who complete a minimum of 20 or more Continuing Learning Units (CLUs) in a calendar year. The certification is part of the LSBA's efforts to promote professional development among school board members. Members must also complete a minimum of six hours of training annually, covering topics such as Louisiana school laws and educational trends.
“I want to personally thank and congratulate our board members for committing themselves to this training process, with the purpose of making our board the best it can be,” Superintendent Dr. John Barthelemy said.
