Chromebook Care
Treat your device as you would any valuable electronic device.
Be gentle with the touchscreen (if equipped), keyboard, trackpad, and ports.
Don’t add stickers or markings to the device.
Keep food and drink away from the device.
Use a surge protector and unplug the device during electrical storms.
Protect from extreme temperatures
Do not lend your device to anyone.
Other individuals, including children, should not be allowed to use the device.
Report any damage to the Technology Department immediately.
Do not leave the A/C adapter behind when moving the device
Do not attempt to repair a damaged or malfunctioning laptop.
Do not attempt to upgrade the hardware or software.
Do not attempt to jailbreak the device.
Position the device on a safe surface, so it does not drop or fall.
Proper security is to be provided for the Chromebook at all times, including, but not limited to, the following:
Do not leave the laptop in an unlocked vehicle.
When not being used, store the device in a secure place.
Do not leave unattended in a car, an unlocked home, or in a public place.
