Assumption Parish Schools Offering Seamless Summer Feeding Program

The Assumption Parish School System is participating in the Louisiana Department of Education’s Seamless Summer Food Program, which allows on a first-come, first-serve basis, all children Grades 3-12 to receive free meals.

Meals are provided Monday through Thursday at the following sites in accordance with the listed dates and times:

·      Assumption High School – May 27 to June 26 for 9th to 12th graders, with breakfast served from 7:20 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and lunch from 10:45 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.

·      Napoleonville Middle School – June 2 to June 26 for 6th to 8th graders, with breakfast served from 7:40 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. and lunch from 10:55 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.

·      Napoleonville Primary School – June 2 to June 26 for 3rd to 8th graders, with breakfast served from 8 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. and lunch from 10:35 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Meals provided through the program must be eaten on the school campus. Meals are not allowed to be taken off site.

Students participating in the food program should be delivered to the location that is designated for their grade level. All students will be sent through the serving line for accurate meal counting.

Parents are asked to notify the district’s nutrition office at least a day in advance that their child will be eating breakfast or lunch and indicate the school site.
