2021-2022 Early Childhood Registration Round 2

There are 3 ways to register for Head Start and Preschool for the 2021-2022 school year.

  1. Application Pick-Up Paper copies of the application can be picked up and completed at the Assumption Parish Head Start office Monday-Friday 9:00 am-3:00 pm.

  2. Print your own copy Print a copy of the application from the Assumption Parish Schools website. You will be able to drop off completed applications and all required documents at the Assumption Parish Head Start office Monday-Friday 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Printable applications can be found at: http://assumptionschools.com/resources-2/2021/3/1/early-childhood-application

  3. Online Application Complete an application online in the application portal and upload all documents.  Online access:  assumption.edgear.net/register

Parents/Guardians applying MUST complete an application and provide copies of the following information to be considered complete:

  • Child’s Birth Certificate

  • Child’s Current Immunization (shot) record

  • Child’s Social Security Card

  • Proof of Residency (water bill, electricity bill)

  • Proof of Income (if you are currently working - Examples: 2020 1040 tax statement, last 2 check stubs, SSI/Disability Statement

  • Custody papers, if applicable

Head Start – Must be 3 years old on or before September 30, 2021

Preschool – Must be 4 years old on or before September 30, 2021

The Assumption Parish Head Start Program does not discriminate based on race, color, creed, sex,
